Welcome
| Reflexologists in Australia are not trained in pathophysiology and are not equipped to offer medical diagnosis.
Professional members of the Reflexology Association of Australia (RAoA) understand this and abide by the duty of care as outlined in the code of ethics maintaining the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct. The professional duty of a practitioner is to completely assist the client to optimum health within the circumstances of the client’s condition. Diagnosis of physical conditions is not offered. This is one of the many benefits of being treated by a professional member of the RAoA.
Reflexology is a Complementary Integrated Therapy working alongside the western medical model in major hospitals in Australia and throughout the world. It does not promote exclusivity of treatment and does not cause distress to clients by making spurious claims about other professions. |
