About the workshop:
Angela Nicholson

The Structural Release Technique is taught as a one day workshop for professional body workers, including reflexologists, massage therapist and others. It integrates by theory and practical components. Participants work in pairs for 30mins each = 1hr total

This reflexology based sequenced technique is designed to help practitioners transform treatment outcomes by releasing, de-stressing, aligning and restoring body postural function.

Structural Release Technique has a primary impact on body posture and musculoskeletal treatments, however secondary and ancillary body systems benefit as a result of understanding the role ‘compression effect’ plays in body stress.

What you will learn:

* The benefits of the Structural Release Technique and its physical impacts

* Gain an understanding about body-posture and deliver a postural assessment

* Getting familiar with all the specific applied reflex areas for effective release

* Incorporating acupressure and energetic components to access subtle release

* Following a systematic (sequenced) procedure or modify for an individualised approach if required.

About the presenter:

Tony Pullin

Tony Pullin has 20 Years of Professional Reflexology experience and knowledge to share with colleagues. He remains passionate about advancing reflexology methods that deliver powerful results.

Identifying how transforming client’s outcomes makes a huge difference to them personally.  The development and applied insights to how the Structural Release

Technique impacts a wide range of health issues, yet is such a simple and practical approach, is just one example.

As reflexologists (and other body-workers) are aware, gaining our client’s trust to facilitate a healing state is something we strive for. This therapy technique offers you the opportunity to demonstrate a tangible difference in the first 15mins of your treatment session - And that’s GOLD for any therapist.

 

What to bring:

*Pen/pencils for note taking

*Workshop notes (in either printed or digital format). These will be emailed to you approximately one week prior to the workshop.

Parking

Parking at the North Holtermann Street Car Park is $5 per half hour up to a maximum of $50.  Street parking closer to the Centre is paid parking (metered) until 12.30pm Saturday and free thereafter. 

The workshop is in the Fuller Room on Level 3 of the Crows Nest Centre therefore if you park on Level 4 of the North Holtermann Street Car Park this leads directly into the centre. 

For free parking with no time restrictions on a Saturday, attendees can try the block between West Street and Alexander Street.

Structural Release Technique Workshop

Registration Terms and Conditions

Workshop date: Saturday 21 May 2022:

By enrolling in the Structural Release Technique workshop to be held on 21 May 2022, you are also agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions.

Cancellations:

Cancellations received in writing to accounts@reflexology.org.au by 29 April 2022 may receive a refund or credit less a $55 administration fee. Cancellations received from 30 April 2022 will not be eligible for any refund, however you can send someone in your place. Please note: this is your own personal arrangement. The notice of a change in person must be received in writing to Accounts accounts@reflexology.org.au prior to or by no later than 4pm 12 May 2022 in order for the changes to take effect, otherwise this arrangement is nil and void. You will be required to make your own arrangement with that person re payment exchange.  The RAoA will not be responsible or liable whatsoever. A $40 administration fee applies and payable at the time of the notice of change.

NOTE: Once the workshop notes have been emailed to the attendees, there is no refund whatsoever.

Registrations close when workshop is deemed FULL or Wednesday 18 May 2022.

Workshop/Event Cancellation or Postponement

The RAoA Limited does not accept any liability for losses incurred in the circumstance of a Workshop/Event being cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances that renders performance of this workshop/event inadvisable, illegal, impracticable or impossible. An unforeseen circumstance shall include, but shall not be limited to: an Act of God; infectious disease outbreak, industrial disruptions, service provider failures, governmental restrictions and/or regulations; war or apparent act of war; terrorism or apparent act of terrorism; disaster; civil disorder, disturbance, and/or riots; curtailment, suspension, and/or restriction on transportation; or any other emergency.

In the circumstance that the workshop/event is cancelled for any of the above reasons, no refunds will be issued. All available funds, after cancellation expenses, will be credited towards a future workshop/event held by the RAoA.

Insurance

The registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. Participants are advised to take out personal insurance, including cover for travel, accommodation and personal possessions. RAoA Limited does not cover individuals against the cancellations of bookings for any reason including cancellation or postponement of the workshop/event or for theft or damage to belongings.

N.B: Interstate, overseas or distance attendees please confirm your workshop booking before arranging flights and accommodation in the event dates and venues have changed for some unforeseen circumstance.

Terms and Conditions – COVID-19

Until further notice, the following Terms and Conditions will apply to RAoA Branch workshops – for COVID-19:

  • If you feel unwell due to COVID symptoms, please have a recognised COVID test prior to attending any workshops.
  • If you test negative, you may proceed with attending the workshop.
  • If you test positive, please do not attend. You may send someone else in your place or you may apply for a refund. If you send someone in your place, payment from that person is your own private arrangement. Please advise accounts@reflexology.org.au of the change of name ASAP prior to the workshop so that records can be noted.
  • If you test positive and don’t send someone in your place, you may choose to have a credit applied to your account, or you may apply for a refund. Email your request along with evidence of your ‘positive’ test results to accounts@reflexology.org.au . The sum of the credit or refund is dependent on whether you have already been emailed the workshop notes (if the workshop has pre-emailed notes).
  • The date of the result of the test must align with the date of the workshop in order for a credit or refund to be considered.
  • If the workshop is cancelled by the RAoA, refer terms and conditions as stated above. 
  • Should you wish to cancel and not attend the workshop, the Structural Release workshop registration Terms and Conditions apply
  • NB: The above relates to COVID-19 only.
